As the end of the semester nears, I realize that the session of sister scholars has ended way too soon. It feels good to have some place just for me to share with a group of women that are just like me. I am looking forward to next semester to come back to this place called SisterScholars.

SisterScholars-inTraining is a great group for African American women. It has helped me to have a sense of belonging and security in the University. We talked about various subjects that really helped me to expand my thinking. They bring in people from different departments and have them talk to us and make us aware of resources on campus. Academically, they helped me set and reach goals, and stay on track. I really appreciate them all for it.

SisterScholars-inTraining has been a blessing to me. Being able to go somewhere on school grounds, sharing personal and academics challenges. I felt like I wasn't alone in this big University. I really appreciate SisterScholars and will continue to attend as long as it is available. From this group I've learned how to network and to listen to others.

Thank You,
