Paul Ke moves from Chapter Director to CEF Board Chairman |
|
For over seven years, Paul Ke (Eta ‘93) has helped the Delta-Zeta Chapter grow and prosper and has been very unselfish with his time to insure that the undergraduates received the guidance that they needed. Paul worked with the undergraduates on day to day operations of the fraternity, helped work fundraising events, philanthropy events, attended walkouts and sporting events with the guys. Paul was a constant voice for the guys and a great role model for the Chapter brothers.
THANKS PAUL FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION! |

Chris Ruth takes over as Chapter Director |
|
As an undergraduate with the Delta Zeta Chapter, Chris was selected as the Chapter's delegate for Sigma Pi University 2007 and Convocation 2008. He received the Gene Grindler Memorial Scholarship and was voted Brother of the Year in 2008. Chris sat on the Executive Council and helped create and impliment new programs and positions in the chapter. His experience in the business world has provided him with lessons that he can pass on to the next generation of graduates as he helps to prepare them for what lies ahead of them on their quest. We are excited to have Chris on board, and are looking forward to see what he brings to the table.
Chris wants to thank Paul Ke, Paul Wydra and Jon Frost for helping him to prepare for his new position! |

2009 Walk for Autism |
|
We recently teamed up with other local families, companies and other sponsors to do our part in the fight against Autism which through recent research may affect 1 in 91 children. Though it was early for some of the guys, we still got motivated for the 1.2 mile trip around Forest Park and even more motivated to support for such a good cause. Thanks to all of the guys who came out and walked with the over 25,000 walkers from the area. Together we raised and donated $650 for Autism Speaks a foundation dedicated to global biomedical research into the causes, treatments and prevention of Autism. Total the Autism Walk raised over $750,000 for the St. Louis chapter of Autism Speaks.
SPECIAL THANKS: to Alumnus Dan Hayse and his wife Jan for getting everything together for the event!

Sam Spady Night Impacts Attendees |
On the evening of Wednesday March 19th, the Delta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Pi hosted an event on the campus of U.M. St. Louis to help raise student awareness of the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption and binge drinking. This was the first year the event was held, and it will be continued every spring. Raffle tickets were sold for attendance prizes, dinner was provided, there were games and the night was topped off with a highly anticipated Pie Eating Contest won by Sigma Pi's own Robbie Haupt. The Sam Spady Video, Death By Alcohol, was shown and PR Chairman Chris Ruth spoke about Sam Spady and her family. All proceeds from the event benefited the Sam Spady Foundation, the International Philanthropy of Sigma Pi Fraternity. LEARN MORE HERE
