Missouri American Water Announces Research Award for High School Students

Missouri American Water is inviting high school students to submit their research papers on water quality and watershed protection topics to the Junior Science Engineering and Humanities Symposium (JSEHS). The award is open to any Missouri high school student.

The top paper, as judged by Missouri American’s Water Quality staff, will be recognized with a plaque, a $500 award for the student and a $500 award for the sponsoring teacher. Students may also apply for a grant, up to $100, to fund materials and supplies needed to conduct their research.

Students may submit their papers in any of the JSEHS award categories, following the guidelines and application forms available on the JSEHS site.
