• Check claim adjuster voicemail and deliver the messages
  
• Work claim adjuster emails and virtual faxes, alert the adjusters in the claim system and import the documents into the virtual filing system.
• Gather and prepare written correspondence for the insured and claimants
• Make sure the adjusters follow insurance compliance
• Prepare managerial claim reports using the Cold Reports System and export them into the supervisor drive
• Provide desktop publishing for the supervisors
• Printing certificates and other color documents for supervisors and managers

Assets and Liabilities

Strongest Asset

My strongest assest that I bring to a team is that I work well with others and am very hard working. When given a task, I make sure that it is completed. If other work needs to be done, I will assist. I am also a marketing major, I like the challenge of finding out a target audience and finding out what the customers (or clients want).

Weakness

A weakness of mine is that I do not have a lot of IS work experience. I have taken several IS courses, but I haven't been able to apply what I've learned in the real world. However, I do look forward to learning a lot with this project. Another weakness that I have is that I am not as outspoken as I would like to be.

Ability to Coordinate Team Projects

I do a lot of group work at my job. Sometimes there are many tasks that need to be done by the end of the day. I am good at asking my teammates what they comfortable working on and choosing tasks from there. Each team member has a project/task they are better at working on than others. I am flexible in choosing tasks accordingly.

Creativity

I consider myself very creative. I don't like things to be plain. I like things to be interesting and captivating. I feel that colors can awaken the senses and are inspiring. I feel that I am also creative when it comes to writing.

Communication Skills

I am soft spoken. Public speaking isn’t something I look forward to doing, but a presentation is something that needs to be done, so I deal with it and do what I have to do to get the task accomplished. Communication isn’t just verbal, it can also be in the form of writing. Depending on the topic, it may take me awhile to get started, but I find that writing is easier.

Analytical Skills

Sometimes I tend to analyze situations too much. Sometimes I can be too practical, while sometimes I think outside the box. When analyzing something, I keep in mind that there is more than one way to solve problems. This comes in handy when working in a group because not everyone is going to have the same solution that I come up with.

Project Management Skills

I am not good at managing others especially when others don’t cooperate or want to complete their own tasks. If someone is having trouble and need help, that is one thing. But, if someone is being lazy and waits around for others to do their work then I have a problem with that.

Where I Live

I have lived in the Midwest my entire life. I moved to St. Louis from Indiana. I don't remember much of the state because I moved here when I was twelve. I lived in Univercity City and currently live in Florissant.
