The Ph.D. and the Donkey

Once upon a time, a farmer wishes to sell his donkey and ask a Ph.D. to write a 'For Sale Sign' to take to the market.

After three pages of composition, the word 'donkey' has yet to appear. So, the farmer became disappointed.

Moral: When we are assigning a person for doing a certain project, we should choose the right person whose capability matches with the corresponding task appropriately. In the short story above, men or women with Ph.D. degrees illustrate learned persons with well-deserved reputations. However, it does not necessarily mean that they are the best persons for all tasks.

These stories are adapted examples written in my class, IS 6840 (formerly MSIS 488).
