Notes:

It is very difficult (and misleading) to use Lines of Code for estimating.
Function Point Counting was developed in the late 70’s and early 80’s by IBM and continues to evolve today. A function point is a consistent sizing metric, independent of technology and language, that is based on a customers logical perspective. It is applicable to new development, enhancements, and maintenance. There are $ associated with this.
    Anyone have any ideas?
