Practicum Opportunities in the St. Louis Metro Area

Following is a list of locations that have either expressed interest in having a LIS practicum student work in the library, or the library has hosted a practicum student in the past. These are just suggestions. You will need to contact the library to ask if they would consider hosting a practicum student, set up an appointment to talk with the supervising librarian, be interviewed by the library, and agree on work hours and a learning plan. Look for a library, or department within a library, where you would like experience. Those highlighted in green below have requested LIS practicum students within the last year.
