Research
Research Interests:Design
and application of solution methods for models of real world problems.
Problem classes of current interest are integer programming, linear
programming, network and transportation
problems. Specific application areas include facility location,
generalized assignment, bond refinancing, mortgage backed security
financing.
Current Works in Progress:
- Design of bond issues for purchase of guaranteed mortgage backed securities
- Dispatching of oil tanker trucks
- Improved algorithms for variants of the generalized assignment problems
