Registering for Classes at UMSL

LOUIS CAMPUS MUST BE ADVISED PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR SPRING OR FALL CLASSES.*PLEASE NOTE THAT ADVISEMENT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR SUMMER SEMESTER STUDENTS*All new undergraduate students are expected to attend New Student Orientation. At orientation you will meet your faculty, learn about the many services the university has to offer, meet your classmates, take a tour, learn how to get involved on campus, and much much more. There are a couple of ways to register for classes at UMSL

1. Students can register through MyView.

2. Students may go to The Registrar's Office, Room 351Millennium Student Center. Hours: 8:00am - 7:00pm Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday

Undergraduate Fall/Spring Semesters, 18 or more credit hours.
Graduate Fall/Spring Semesters, 13 or more credit hours.

SPECIAL CONSENT COURSE: If a Special Consent Required is indicated in the schedule of courses, you may NOT register for the course without a Special Consent Form. You may obtain this form from the department offering the course.
