¨              World AIDS Day—12/01.  Each year, on December 1, World AIDS Day is observed all around the world. The day is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.  Since the beginning concept in 1988, World AIDS Day has been taken up by governments, international organizations, and charities from all around the world. ¨              The Health, Wellness, and Counseling Services will have a table set up in the MSC Rotunda on World AIDS Day. The service will be scheduling appointments and providing educational materials and giveaways relating to HIV/AIDS.

¨              Queer Eye for the Dorm Guy/Girl (pt. 2) - beginning 01/16/09. For more information, contact PRIZM.

¨              Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference—02/13/09 - 02/15/09 @ Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. MBLGTACC is an annual conference held to promote leadership, activism, networking, diversity, health, and empowerment among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and allied student, staff, and faculty around the United States and Canada.

¨              We will leave St. Louis on Friday, February 13 at 1PM and return on Sunday 15th at 6PM.
