About Us

                 PRIZM is UMSL’s Queer-Straight Student Alliance.  It is our goal to create and maintain an inclusive, safe and accepting environment on our campus for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We aim to defeat negative stereotypes and educate people by sponsoring social events and activities on campus throughout the school year.  We usually meet biweekly throughout the academic year.

We need to have a sense that we are appreciated, and that we are wanted on campus.  We need to feel that we belong here …”
