SGA Representative

The SGA rep attends most student government association meetings and is the pre-med society's voice for campus issues.  The SGA rep presents any information covered at the meetings that pertains to the club.

The historian takes pictures at club functions, scrapbooks all materials, uploads pictures to group site, and prepares display boards for new student orientation.

2005-06 Officers

The major duties of each officer position is described below.  If you are interested in running for a position for next academic year, contact Jeanette by email. Officer elections are held at the April meeting. 

For winter semester 2006, there are three openings for officer positions that need to be filled immediately. If you are interested, please contact Jeanette today.

Jeanette Guenther, President

The president organizes club meetings and oversees activities. Duties of the president include but are not limited to coordinating all events and projects for the academic year, contacting the pre-med advisor with important club information, lining up guest speakers, ect.

Chereka Kluttz, Vice President

Vice President assists the president with executing  and organizing committees for planning events and projects, among other executive duties.

Chase Sims, Secretary

Among other duties, the secretary records minutes for each meeting, posts minutes onto mygateway, and keeps records of membership and contact information in a binder.

Treasurer

The treasurer handles financial forms to be turned into the office of student life. The treasurer is required to attend a financial workshop and prepare an official budget.

Publicity Representative

The PR officer is the webmaster of the pre-med website, takes care of the club bulletin boards, and create flyers advertising meetings and events.
