Gualtiero Piccinini is interested in everything related
to computationalism: the notion of computation and computing mechanism, the mind-body
problem, intentionality, the status of folk psychology, the notion of function as it
applies to organisms and artifacts, functional analysis in biology and engineering,
the Church-Turing thesis, and more. Gualtiero has also published on, and maintains
an active interest in, both the use of introspective reports in science and general
scientific methodology.
