Chapter 16: Cloeliae virtus

Review.

There is no new grammar in Chapter 16.

The pavement of the Sacra Via, rising from the eastern edge of the Forum narrowly defined, to the top of the hill to the east, the summa Sacra Via. On the top of the hill now is the Arch of Titus to the right and the temple of Antoninus and Faustina to the left, both after Quintus' (Horace's) time and long after the semi-mythical time of Cloelia in the Chapter 16 story. Her statue would have been at or near the arch.
