Chapter 10, Drill c: Practice making adjectives agree with nouns (case, gender, number).

Each Latin noun is accompanied by a Latin adjective in parentheses, in the masculine nominative singular (if it exists) form. Make that adjective agree with the noun in case, gender, and number; if there are several possibilities, try any one. You now have nominative, genitive, accusative, ablative, and vocative cases, and all three genders, to choose from.

Example:
saxi (magnus) Answer: magni: genitive singular, not nominative plural. Since saxum is neuter, the masculine -i nominative plural ending is not an option.
