In these pages, you will find very elementary notes about the material directly relevant to the exercises.  Then a few examples of the main kinds of exercises are worked out.  In an act of unprecedented generosity, I will work through examples from the exercises that are set to you for credit.

Listed below are the lessons and dates on which notes and examples will be available.  The companion lecture for each lesson will be available on MyGateway one week earlier.  Check the syllabus for times.  Click on the lesson for which you wish to view the worked examples after the date listed.

A sample mid-term will be posted one week before the earliest date you can take the mid-term (March 8th.)  You may take the mid-term any time up until March 15th.
