As part of the admissions process you are required to take the Optometry Admission Test.  The OAT is administered online through various testing centers.  You can register for the OAT by phone or online:

Once you have taken your OAT you must designate UMSL to receive your official scores. Unofficial scores will not be accepted.

The OAT test can be retaken every 90 days; students who have taken the OAT more than three times could see an adverse impact on the competiveness of your application.

OAT SCORES:

The Admissions Committee considers scores of 300 or higher competitive for consideration of a possible interview for admission.
