Museum Studies News
Candidates for graduate work in Museum Studies are accepted for entry during the fall semester. Prospective students must demonstrate high academic potential. Typically, we admit only students with at least a 3.2 grade point average in their undergraduate major; most successful applicants have higher grades.
Graduates of Museum Studies have majored in a wide range of disciplines.
Applicants must submit:
- Three letters of recommendation - preferably from former teachers and/or employers
- An updated resume
- A sample of their written work.
- Applicants must also complete the Museum Studies Supplemental Application, which includes a statement of career intent. Once you have completed the application, please forward your application and supporting materials to Graduate Admissions. Please also ask all those who write letters for you to send them to Graduate Admissions. Applications must be received by the University no later than February 1.
