The University has provided information to the world via the Internet for several years. Internet presence and experience is not a new endeavor at UM-St. Louis. The Library's "gopher" information service is currently averaging more than 100,000 accesses per month.







The University of Missouri-St. Louis is being utilized by the world.

Interesting fact: More than ninety percent of all UM-St. Louis gopher users are outside the state of Missouri; the single largest group of users are subscribers to the America Online commercial information service.
