AWP Intro Journals Project

The Intro Journals Project is a national competition open to students enrolled in graduate creative writing programs that are member programs in the AWP (Associated Writing Programs).  The awards, which include publication in a literary journal, are given annually in poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction.  A very small number of honorable mentions are awarded as well.

Eve Jones, Honorable Mention in 2004 for "Wedding Night," a poem

Robert Lowes, Winner, in 2003 for "Missing," a poem

Sharon Pedersen, Honorable Mention in 2001 for "Globed Fruit," a personal essay

Janet Goddard, Honorable Mention in 2000 for "The Bee Weeks," a personal essay
