The Natural Bridge Debut Writers' Series seeks out the most promising and talented new writers (fiction writers and poets who've published one or two books) and brings them to St. Louis for a three-day visit.
The culmination of our MFA program is not only the production of a thesis, but also a public reading. At the end of each semester, graduates read in the Thouhill Performing Arts Center. We host audio of all our graduate readings on this website.
Completely student run, GWA hosts several readings a year. MFA students are encouraged to participate in the organization to gain practical experience with organizing readings, as well as first hand interaction with visiting writers.
