Volunteer for the Project

Adults aged 60+ are welcome to participate in the Life Review Project. Volunteers are needed to be interviewed by students learning the LR process. Our greatest need is during the early Summer months, but interviews are conducted year round.

You may also contact the Project Coordinator, Dr. Tom Meuser, at meusert@umsl.edu or (314) 516-5421.

"I conceive of life review as a naturally occurring, universal mental process characterized by the progressive return to consciousness of past experiences, and, particularly, the resurgence of unresolved conflicts; simultaneously, and normally, these revived experiences and conflicts can be surveyed and reintegrated."

Robert N. Butler, PhD (1963)
