Infants (6 weeks to 14 months)
Infants (6 weeks to approximately 14 months) receive the most individualized care as each of their routines and schedules vary dramatically. All infants receive needed feedings, nurturing, love, attention and a quiet area for napping. Throughout the day infants are exposed to exercises and activities which are developmentally appropriate for them. Teachers provide parents with important developmental information, safety and health related articles and more specific information depending on the needs of the child or family. Logs, which parents pick up each day, provide pertinent information about a child's day. The parent board and monthly newsletter also provide information. The group size is 9 with 3 teachers.
