Dimethyltryptamine
(DMT) is a strong hallucinogen with a short
effective duration:
only one hour.
In the 1970s it was known
as the 'businessman's trip'.
It is suspected that this substance is
also formed in human urine. Schizophrenics have been supposed to have it
in their urine, though this has never been systematically demonstrated.
DMT is not effective orally; it has to be smoked or injected.
