These photos are ones we took on our trip to Scotland and England in 1998. I do not have all of them up at this time, so you might want to stop back when you get time.
Getting Lost is sometimes great. First we found this great inn, and the university which Arthur Conan Doyle attended. On our drive .... there were wonderful old abbeys,each with its own great view of the countryside, and sheep everywhere!
In the towns....
Edinburgh, built on old volcanic rocks was a wonderful site.... the city is beautiful and the people are terrific!
Stirling with its beautiful old castle and recollections of the great battles lead by Wallace was an inspiration
Roman Ruins were a special treat, especially Hadrian's Wall.
York was the end of our trip. The Viking influence was fascinating.
