The Sue Shear Institute at the University of Missouri - Kansas City
About the
Institute in Kansas City:
In January, 1999, an advisory board of talented women was
convened in Kansas City to expand the Institute's efforts on the Western
side of the state. The establishment of the Kansas City office helps enable
the Institute to be even more inclusive in its efforts to connect Missouri
women with public service opportunities. Together with the Advisory
Board, our Kansas City office managers Julie Warm and Cynthia Beckmann actively recruit Talent Bank applicants for appointments to boards and
commissions and also coordinates Institute program offerings in Kansas City.
