Campus-Affiliated Housing (apartments)

Temporary housing is necessary for students who plan to search for off-campus housing after their arrival, or for students who are not able to move directly into their Residential Life or University Meadows room.
All UMSL students may live off-campus if they choose. Off-campus housing may be less or more expensive than on-campus housing, depending on the area. It is often further from campus, which can be difficult for students without cars. Off-campus housing also has additional costs, such as utilities. If you choose to live off-campus, be sure to visit the apartment before signing a lease.
