Writing Lab Resources (OWLs)
These are places that your students can send their work for
revision advice. Check them out first yourself.
MOOs
and MUDs
Moos and Muds are places that allow participants to meet in
real time, like chat rooms. For example, you can meet with a
group interested in rhetoric in a room on a virtual campus, or
you can set up virtual office hours and meet your students on-line
in the evening. But be aware, there are many different types
of environments, and not are all appropriate for students. Be
sure and check out these places yourself for several months before
you send your students for a visit.
