These are places that your students can send their work for revision advice. Check them out first yourself. See OWLs under Writing Help.
Moos and Muds are places that allow participants to meet in real time, like chat rooms. For example, you can meet with a group interested in rhetoric in a room on a virtual campus, or you can set up virtual office hours and meet your students on-line in the evening. But be aware, there are many different types of environments, and not are all appropriate for students. Be sure and check out these places yourself for several months before you send your students for a visit.
