  • To give members hands on experience organizing art exhibits and shows in a real world setting.

  • To provide an alternative exhibition space to highlight student produced exhibits.

  • To maintained a gathering place for socializing and sharing information among art lovers.


Mission Statement

The purpose of Gallery Visio is to maintain its position as a unique space designed to provide student artists and student curators with the opportunity to create, curate, and exhibit their work, and to present research programs in support of the educational mission of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Gallery Visio is a program of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The gallery is a non-profit institution in the service of society and its development. The gallery is free and open to the public. The gallery is committed to the exhibition of undergraduate, alumni, and emerging artists’ art, and activities for the purpose of study, education, and enjoyment.
