Consulting Philosophy

My general philosophy in consulting is consistent with humanistic psychology, process consultation and organizational development values. Rather than simply do for the client, I prefer to facilitate learning. That is, the beneficiary of the consultation services should learn from the project. While this approach is considerably more time consuming for myself, it provides satisfaction for me and the beneficiary beyond the finished product. This approach empowers clients to ask their own questions, concurrently develop more lucid research ideas and apply the learned approaches to future research endeavors. In this way, consulting serves as an outreach activity.
