Our Mission

The St. Louis Heart-to-Heart's mission is to provide support to children with congenital heart disease and their families. The group provides support by:

• Connecting families together who have a child with congenital heart disease. We feel it is important to reach out to families so they do not feel so afraid or isolated.

• Educating each other and the community about the prevalence of congenital heart defects, the challenges faced by our children and families, and the need for research and funding. We recognize the power knowledge holds.

• Offering a way for children with congenital heart disease to meet other children with similar concerns and questions. Our children have the added responsibility of taking care of themselves and need a place to express their feelings.
