Evolution and Development of Leaf and Tendril Morphology in Bignonieae (Bignoniaceae)
There is great diversity in leaf and tendril morphology in the Bignonieae tribe of the Bignoniaceae. With the benefit of a well supported phylogeny we plan to use classical and molecular techniques, including gene expression studies, to understand the evolution of the morphology of this fascinating group.
