James Smoot
Jim
was born and raised in southern Illinois.
While attending Rend Lake College, he began working at Applied Research
and Development Laboratories in Mt. Vernon, Il. He was married in 1993 to his wife Tracy. He graduated Southern Illinois University
Carbondale in 1994, and continued working at ARDL until 1997 when he moved to
St. Louis to work at Reliable Biopharmaceutical. His son Kyle was born in 1999, that fall he enrolled at UMSL in
the Masters program. In 2001 he got his
daughter Jena. In 2002 began working
with Dr. Demchenko.
