Logistics and Supply Chain MBA Emphasis

Logistics & Supply Chain Management Programs
The logistics & supply chain management programs at UM-St. Louis are a key component of new initiatives in transportation, logistics and supply chain management that seek to make UM-St. Louis the source in Missouri for educational programs in these areas. The programs provide a solid foundation in logistics and supply chain management, and advanced training in the use of information systems and quantitative tools. These programs capitalize on existing expertise within the College of Business Administration and the Center for Transportation Studies, as well as the resources of a major metropolitan area.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management Emphasis in the MBA
MBA students seeking an Emphasis in Logistics & Supply Chain Management must complete 10 hours from approved courses in addition to LOM 481, Statistical Analysis for Management Decisions and LOM 483, Production and Operations Management. Up to 3 hours may be transferred from another AACSB-accredited graduate program at the discretion of the Chair of the Logistics & Supply Chain Management Committee. The total number of elective hours required will depend on the number of hours waived. Students must complete at least 39 credit hours to earn the MBA degree.

The following courses (totaling 7 hours) are required:

LOM 5334  Internship in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (1 hour)

The remaining 3 hrs (usually 1 course) may be chosen from:
