Instruction to set Window 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT to always display years with 4 digits:

Click on the Start button and select Settings then Control Panel as shown below.

Double Click on the Regional Settings control panel as shown below.

Click on the Date tab, then click on the downward arrow for Short date style and select the form MM/dd/yyyy as shown below, then click on Ok.
