Standards-Based Foreign Language Instruction

Classroom meetings will take place 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2,
and 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9.

Instructor: Deborah Baldini

Prerequisites: Teacher certification and one years teaching experience.

The course is designed to provide inservice foreign language teachers with the background to enable them to design instructional units which incorporate the standards for foreign language learning. The course may be applied toward the Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in foreign language teaching.

Note: This is a hybrid course; students will be required to attend two face-to-face meetings on campus. The remaining contact hours will be online. Students will be required to complete a course project after the instructor-managed activities and discussions have been completed.
