Crucial Early Years® Institute
is designed to meet the needs of teachers, child-care providers, administrators, social workers, students in teacher education, and parents of young children. It will be held on Oct. 18 at McCluer North High School in Florissant.

Keynote speaker Dr. Thomas Moore’s address will focus on seeing the connections between play and children’s development of literacy, math, science, and social skills. And the more than 100 concurrent workshops will cover many facets of early childhood education.
