Ph.D. Student Bio & Interests
Nicole White, Ph.D. Candidate
Nicole entered the UMSL CCJ Ph.D. program in the
Fall of 2003. Prior to entering the program, she completed a M.A.
in Criminal Justice at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale
in May 2002. Her Master’s Thesis was entitled Race and
Juvenile Attitudes Toward the Police in Rural and Small-Town Illinois.
Nicole earned a B.S. in Family Services from Eastern Illinois University
in May 2000.
Her areas of research interest include juvenile delinquency and victimization.
