Ph.D. Student Bio & Interests
Breanne Pleggenkuhle

Breanne was accepted into UMSL’s Criminology and Criminal Justice Ph.D. program in 2007 after completing one year as a Master’s student in the same program. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Community Sociology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wartburg College in 2006. She received her Master’s degree from UMSL in May 2008.
Breanne’s primary research interests focus on corrections, reentry experiences and recidivism, as well as spatial analysis and community context. She is currently working as a research assistant for Dr. Beth Huebner.
