Scott Jacques,

Photo of Scott JacquesScott Jacques entered the Ph.D. program in 2005 after receiving his B.A. in Sociology and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, and received his M.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from UMSL in 2007. He is currently Assistant to the Editor for the British Journal of Sociology, and a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Criminology at the Free University of Amsterdam.

Scott is currently analyzing data from interviews with middle-class and lower-class drug dealers in the United States, and also working on a field study of drug dealers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Areas of Interest:
Drug dealing, theorizing method, victimization, social control, predation, active offender research
