Amanda Gendon
Amanda was accepted into UMSL's Criminology and Criminal Justice Ph.D. program in 2008 after completing one year as a Master's student in the same program. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in the Sociology of Law, Criminology and Deviance as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in May 2005. She received her Master's degree in May 2009.
Amanda's primary research interests focus on Internet- and computer-related criminality, social networks, victimization, routine activities and fear of crime. She was also recently awarded an American Society of Criminology Fellowship for Ethnic Minorities.
Amanda is currently working as an undergraduate instructor and as a research assistant to Dr. Andres Rengifo.
