Bradley Brick, Ph.D. Candidate

Photo of BradBrad entered the Ph.D. program in 2004. Prior to enrollment in the program he received an M.A. in Sociology from Georgia State University (2004). His thesis explored the effects of increased perceptions of community policing in cities on fear of crime (under the direction of Dr. Eric Stewart). He also holds a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse (2001).

Brad’s current research interests focus on communities and crime, specifically exploring the effects of community context on individuals and predictors of neighborhood crime rates, causes and effects of formal and informal sanctions, and juvenile delinquency.
