Advising

The biology major has a number of requirements in several fields and requires appropriate planning to successfully complete. Students should seek advising in the department of biology as soon as they have chosen biology as their major. It is strongly recommended that biology students review their course plan with their advisors each semester before registering for courses in subsequent semesters. Biology advisors are listed below.

For those students enrolled at UMSL, information on the biology major and forms detailing program requirements are found on the “Biology Majors” link in MyGateway. If this link does not appear when you are logged in to MyGateway, please contact Shawn Cummings (cummingss@umsl.edu, 314-516-6221) to request access.
