I am a developmental psychologist interested in promoting children's development toward becoming healthy, happy adults who are also effective moral agents and contributors to their societies. I am the Sanford N. McDonnell Professor of Character Education at UMSL, and therefore direct the McDonnell Leadership Academy in Character Education for school principals. My research interests are in the areas of character education, moral development, and prevention of risky behaviors. |
