20% Application Project Report to be presented in one of the last two onsite sessions. This can be a part of a group project.
80% Eight Case Studies/ Problem sets to be turned in weekly

The tutorial for EXTEND simulation models is run directly from the working CD ROM by executing the file Ext_De32.exe which is right in the Extend folder.  The file to run the modeling program directly is ExtendLT.exe
If you install EXTEND on your machine it will automatically provide link  icons named "getting started" and "ExtendLT".

The LP problem is a problem from the book on hospital expansion.  See the table at the bottom of the page.

macdog.exe  file to be used in the assignment This is a self- extracting archive, so execute it  and it will extract in the same directory to give you macdog2.mox which you can then use with the EXTEND program to do the assignment. It's small (20 K archive, 35 K extracted) so you can save it and extract it anyplace, even on a floppy disk.
