Andrew Roth
Andrew Roth was born in a log cabin in University City and taught himself to draw by candlelight. After high school, he heeded the call to "go west, young man," and headed slightly further south than west to Fort Worth's Texas Christian University in search of higher learning and enlightenment. Finding none in Fort Worth, he graduated from TCU with a BFA in Communications Graphics in 1991. Andrew spent his first years out of college shlepping between underpaid design jobs and unemployment. Eventually, he landed a peach at RSW Creative in Dallas, Texas where he worked for a diverse range of clients such as the Dallas Stars hockey club, Nokia, and Texas Instruments.

After 8 years at RSW, Andrew headed back home to St. Louis and joined 501creative as VP/Creative Director (and bald guy). He's been at 501creative since, and after 10 years, still feels blessed to be devoting his talents to helping bring power and clarity to nonprofit communications. Current clients include Family Support Network, Humane Society of Missouri, Big Brothers Big Sister of Eastern Missouri, Missouri Foundation for Health, and many others.

Andrew was an adjunct instructor in graphic design at UMSL from 2000 through 2008. After his third child was born and stopped teaching for a job as assistant diaper-changer, book-reader and bed-tucker; which pays much less but offers incalculable benefits.
