Biography
Bruce teaches graphic design at University of Missouri-St. Louis. He received his BFA in Graphic Design from West Virginia University and an MFA from California Institute of the Arts. He has freelanced as a graphic designer in Los Angeles, Boston, Washington, DC and
St. Louis. In addition to teaching at UMSL, he is a graphic designer
at Schisla Design Studio where he works on books, logos, ads, tradeshow graphics and web sites. Bruce’s specialties include typography, illustration, identity systems and interactive design.
Bruce enjoys silk-screening posters with Jen McKnight. He also
has perfect registration.
