Patrick McNeil is an assistant professor at University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Patrick teaches in the Graphic Design program where he focuses on UX Design and front-end development techniques. He received his BS from UMSL and his MS in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University. Patrick is the creator, and curator of DesignMeltdown.com. He is the author of The Web Designer's Idea Book series (volumes 1 through 4), the Designer's Web Handbook and The Mobile Web Designer's Idea Book. Patrick frequently speaks at web design conferences around the country.
