Ken Anderson is Professor of Art at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.  He received his BFA from Washington University and his MFA from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.  He has taught studio classes in painting and drawing as well as art history classes in the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas and was instrumental in establishing the BFA Degree Program at UM-St. Louis.  

Ken is an abstract painter, sculptor, and mixed media artist who has been an active exhibitor for more than 35 years.  He has participated in over 200 documented exhibitions, 35 of which were solo exhibitions.  These exhibits were a mixture of international expositions, national and international competitions, invitational exhibits, and solo and group shows at various venues including museums, universities and galleries across the United States.  His work is included in over 70 public and corporate collections.
